Sometimes we offer discount codes for promotional periods or on certain products - these are generally one-off discounts that can be used within a specified timeframe. Note that discounts cannot be stacked together, only one discount code can be used at a time.
We have a set of bundles available with a 15% discount. Other discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with a bundle discount, so additional discounts will not apply if there is a combination of full price products and bundles in the cart. Sitewide sales do not include bundles.
They're due back late May 2026! They're having a packaging upgrade and will be back online soon.
Get in touch right away and we'll do our best! Once it's shipped then it's out of our hands. During sale periods it is not possible to make any changes to your orders after they're placed.
During sale periods shipping is delayed due to the processing time required for packing a large volume of orders. Please expect delays when orders are placed during sale/discount periods.
We ship out every week day from Paeroa, orders placed before 8am will ship that day, anything after 8am will ship the next day.
NZ Post delivers within NZ with a target of overnight for North Island and 2 days for South Island.
Australia shipping is either NZ/Australia post or DHL express with a target of 3-7 days.
You'll receive a tracking email once it ships (check your spam). You can monitor the progress and if there are any issues with delivery the best option is to contact the courier directly via your tracking page, in case they need further details from you.

Australia shipping can be selected during checkout.
For the rest of the world shipping, get in touch hello@amberjack.co.nz, let us know what you'd like and where you want it to go (the shipping address) and we'll get a quote to you. Note that 10ml or 50ml parfum products cannot be shipped outside of NZ at this time.
We can accept returns of products unused and in their original condition, within 30 days of purchase.
Returns are processed by mail or instore in Paeroa (with proof of purchase) - and a refund is issued to the same card that was used in the original purchase.

Note the shipping for the requested exchange is at your cost, we'll send a payment link for the additional shipping fee once the exchange is processed.
If you'd like to exchange your product for a different fragrance/product, get in touch first then return the items by mail or instore (with proof of purchase) and we'll exchange it.
We cannot offer returns or exchanges on sale items or gift cards.
Let us know! Send a pic of the broken product/wrong item and we'll fix it.
Photos are required in order to receive a replacement.
If you decide to cancel your order you'll need to let us know as soon as possible after placing it.
Once it ships, it can't be cancelled. But if it hasn't shipped we can cancel it for you.
Our fragrances are manufactured in accordance with the strict guidelines and regulations of the International Fragrance Research Association. All fragrances are phthalate free. Our oils contain a combination of natural ingredients, essential oils and synthetic perfume ingredients.
We've partnered with an experienced and reliable fragrance manufacturer in the USA who custom make our oils for us. Through them, we can have our fragrances comply with additional cleaner standards which don't yet exist in NZ (such as compliance with the Californian Prop 65 list).
Candles are made with soy wax from the USA.
Our perfumes do not contain any synthetic dyes or phthalates (hormone disruptors). The alcohol used is not de-natured, it's pure food-grade grain alcohol made in NZ.
While our fragrances can be used by people who are otherwise sensitive/allergic/intolerant to other fragrances, we still recommend a patch test to check for any personal sensitivities. A list of potential allergens is found on the product pages of all products which are intended for the skin (perfumes, wash).
We don't offer a contract manufacturing service or unbranded candles.
We're not currently taking on any new custom/collaboration projects.
We don't offer refills. Once you've finished with your candle, clean it out and put it out for recycling with other glass or repurpose it.
We don't offer discounts for bulk purchases on our website. You can use bundles to get a discount on multiple products.
