Get in touch right away and we'll do our best! Once it's shipped then it's out of our hands.

When will I receive my order?

We ship out every week day from Paeroa, orders placed before 8am will ship that day, anything after 8am will ship the next day.

NZ Couriers delivers within NZ with a target of overnight for North Island and 2 days for South Island.

Australia shipping is DHL express with a target of 3-5 days.

You'll receive a tracking email once it ships (check your spam). You can monitor the progress and if there are any issues with delivery the best option is to contact the courier directly via your tracking page, in case they need further details from you.

If there are any problems just get in touch and we'll try to help.

Do you ship worldwide?

Australia shipping can be selected during checkout.

For rest of the world shipping, get in touch hello@amberjack.co.nz, let us know what you'd like and where you want it to go (the shipping address) and we'll get a quote to you.

Can I exchange my order?

We can accept returns of products unused and in their original condition, within 30 days of purchase.

Returns are processed by mail or instore in Paeroa (with proof of purchase) - and a refund is issued to the same card that was used in the original purchase.

Contact us hello@amberjack.co.nz to start a return.

If you'd like to exchange your product for a different fragrance/product, get in touch first then return the items by mail or instore (with proof of purchase) and we'll exchange it.

What if my order is wrong or broken?

Let us know! Send a pic of the broken product/wrong item and we'll fix it.

Photo's are required in order to receive a replacement.

Can I cancel my order?

If you decide to cancel your order you'll need to let us know as soon as possible after placing it.

Once it ships, it can't be cancelled. But if it hasn't shipped we can cancel it for you.

What ingredients do you use?

Our fragrances are manufactured in accordance with the International Fragrance Research Association (IFRA) strict standards and regulations. They are phthalate free and in addition, our fragrances are made 'clean' by industry standards - that is free from many common fragrance ingredients which are known to be harmful or cause reactions. All of our fragrances are custom made to order in the USA. Our fragrance oils contain a combination of natural ingredients, essential oils and synthetic perfume ingredients.

Candles are made with 100% soy wax, sourced from the USA.

Can you make custom candles?

We don't offer unbranded candles or contract manufacturing.

If you're keen to collaborate with us for a quantity over 500 units, we can offer custom fragrances and collaborative labelling - get in touch with your ideas!

Can I return my jars?

Sure. If you clean them out fully (no label/wax) you can send them back and we'll reuse them for our in-house testing.

Otherwise you can upcycle them, they make great storage containers for bits and pieces.

Or you can clean them out and send them for recycling with your kerb side collection.

Do you offer discounts or wholesale?

We don't offer discounts for bulk purchases on our website.

My code won't work?

Not all products are valid for discounts with codes. Bundles are already discounted by 15% so don't qualify. The Odd Candle is a larger candle and also not valid for discount with codes. Any charity items are not valid for discount with codes as all proceeds go to the charity. Some codes require a minimum spend - see the email to see if this applies to your code. Codes can only be used one time. If you think your cart should be eligible for discount with a code but it's showing not valid - let us know and we'll look into it for you.
